Three More Days

We have three days left in San Antonio before we get on a plane to start our new life in Costa Rica. We have enjoyed our time here with friends and family. Dan and I have especially enjoyed getting to know our grandson better. We'll keep everyone up-to-date on our progress and adventures in Costa Rica.

Our Time in SA so far

We've been in San Antonio for almost two weeks now. We are really enjoying spending time with our grandson, Tyler. So far we've stayed at my mom's house, Robin's house, spent several days in a room on Lackland AFB after I got my wisdom teeth pulled, and now we are at our friend's house. Cristen and Dustin have there wisdom teeth pulled on Friday. We'll stay on base again for a few days to let them rest and recover.

We received all of our belongings from storage the other day. Now we have the monumental task of figuring out how much we can bring to Costa Rica. We already have several full suitcases but we can only take two suitcases each. It will be interesting. We'll just trust Father and enjoy the adventure.

My Wisdom teeth are gone!

I had my wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday. I can't wait until I can stop stuffing gauze in my mouth and eat regular food again. It does give me a reason to relax and catch up on blogging and other things. Cristen and Dustin get theirs pulled next Friday.

Our Trip to San Antonio

Our trip to San Antonio was great! We spent two days in Gatlinburg, TN, three and a half days relaxing days with friends in Memphis, and one day with friends in The Woodlands, TX before getting to San Antonio.

We ate at No Way Jose's our first night in Gatlinburg.
Yummy food!

Gatlinburg has a wide variety of interestng and
fun stores.
The absolute best aquarium.
Traveling in the very packed car.

Our last days with the Chandlers in Memphis. Our kids
grow so fast!

Ahhh! The Texas boarder.

We made a deal that the first Taco Cabana
we saw we would stop and eat no matter
what time it was.
