Dental Clinic

Lori and I had the great opportunity to return to Paso Marcos to help with a dental clinic. Every month, a team from Clinica Biblica heads to the mountains to bring dental care to the locals and the indigenous people.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and care provided by the doctor and her staff. Their people skills were very great and they took time to do some group classes on preventative dental care.

What a great opportunity to meet our future neighbors and practice our Spanish. It is a little scary how much more we have to learn but exciting to see the progress we have made.

In addition to the clinic, we provided the opportunity for the community to purchase clothes, shoes, toys and some school supplies at incredibly low prices.

Clothes at the "Country Store"

Lori helped run the store and I sat behind the registration desk.

We enjoyed the escape to the country and wonderful fellowship with Alekcey and Judith. Of course I took a couple of picures.
