Charlie

Charlie is the newest member to our family. We got Charlie from some missionary friends that are translating the Bible into the Cabecar language. They live up the road from Alekcey and Judith in Paso Marcos.

Charlie chillaxing with Lori. She loves to have her belly rubbed.

"Woe is me", everybody is leaving me again.

I love the park. The park reminds me of my old life in Paso Marcos. I was able to run, play in the river, and hang with my other dog friends.

I love to go for walks, but the chain and leash hamper my style. At first every car that went by would scare me. Life in the city is very different. I do like my new family.

Our house in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Here is our house we are renting in San Jose Costa Rica. We live in the suburb of San Francisco dos Rios. We have a 15 minute walk to the Instituto de Lengua Espanola. The original house we were going to rent decided at the last last minute not to allow dogs. Since we have a dog that was not a option.

Our kitchen and breakfast nook.

The small park right outside our front door. A wonderful place for Charlie to take care of her "business".

Our living room. Not a lot of room but enough to survive. We have three bedrooms and a little patio in the back. We have one bathroom for the four of us.

Our garage. A nice place for Charlie to hang when we are out of the house. Here Charlie is greeting our next door neighbor.
