9 Days of Sickness

I've had this horrible cold for 9 days now. For 2 days I ran a fever and had body aches. 4 of those days I had less than two hours of sleep because of coughing. I finally went to the doctor on day 6. He gave me Tylenol with Codeine so I could sleep. You can only take Tylenol with Codeine every four to six hours but it stops working after two hours. So, for the last 3 nights I take my medicine, fall asleep, wake up two hours later coughing, read for two hours, take more medicine and fall asleep again.

I was supposed to go to a ladies retreat this weekend but I have a feeling the other three ladies I would be rooming with wouldn't approve of my nightly schedule.
