A year ago, anytime we thought about all that needed to be done to get to Costa Rica it seemed a bit overwhelming. Now, here we are, a month away from leaving Virginia. Our house is half empty, our residency application along with all the necessary documents have been sent to Costa Rica, we've been accepted to the Spanish Language Institute in San Jose and now we are going through all of our belongs. Most of our furniture has been sold or will be given away. The things we want to enjoy again someday, when and if God calls us back to the States, will be stored here in VA. Everything we need for Costa Rica will have to fit in our suitcases or stored in Texas for a future pickup.
It has not been an easy year. Each step in the process has had its varying degree of challenges. We thank our Father in Heaven for giving us his strength, wisdom, peace, patience, guidance and love through it all. He has given us more than we knew to ask for. He has truly blessed us beyond measure.
